When You Know, You Know

Sometimes you just know it’s love.

Come fall in love with this charming home nestled in San Leandro’s beloved Farrelly Pond neighborhood — where homes with timeless character and a true sense of community create the kind of place people never want to leave.

From the moment you enter, warmth welcomes you home. Gorgeous refinished random plank hardwood floors stretch throughout the living and dining rooms, while abundant natural light pours through large corner windows and an enchanting porthole window that adds just the right touch of vintage charm.

The inviting living room centers around a classic fireplace — perfect for cozy evenings, meaningful conversations, and quiet moments at the end of the day. Just beyond, the vintage kitchen delights with personality and charm, while the adjoining breakfast nook invites slow mornings, second cups of coffee, and sunlight streaming through oversized windows.

The formal dining room sets the stage for holidays, dinner parties, laughter-filled gatherings, and everyday moments that become lifelong memories.

This lovingly refreshed 2-bedroom home also features:

  • Updated bathroom with shower over tub
  • Updated flooring in kitchen and bathroom
  • Large linen closet
  • Dedicated laundry area with a utility sink
  • Fresh interior and exterior paint
  • Modern light fixtures
  • Detached garage
  • Long gated driveway for added privacy
  • Private backyard perfect for relaxing or entertaining
  • Spacious deck with canopy shade for summer afternoons and evening gatherings

Host backyard barbecues, linger on the deck with friends, and create the kind of life that feels easy, connected, and full of love.

With a WalkScore® of 81, this location offers the perfect blend of neighborhood charm and everyday convenience. BART is less than a mile away, with easy access to both 580 and 880 for Bay Area commuting.
Nearby favorites include:

  • Sprouts Market
  • Philz Coffee
  • Downtown San Leandro shops and cafés
  • The beloved Wednesday Farmers’ Market
  • San Leandro Public Library
  • Lake Chabot’s trails, boating, fishing, and open space
  • San Leandro Marina for waterfront bike rides and sunset views
  • Costco is just minutes away

And when it comes to dining, locals know they’re spoiled with incredible neighborhood gems like Bluebird Pizzeria, Top Hatters Kitchen & Bar, Levanta, Paradiso Restaurant, Tio's Mediterranean Grill, and Little Namking.
Meander through Farrelly Pond and you’ll quickly understand why so many people are falling in love with San Leandro — one of the Bay Area’s best-kept secrets and best values.

North San Leandro offers something increasingly rare: small-town charm with exceptional everyday amenities. It’s the kind of place where neighbors still know each other, local business owners greet familiar faces, and community traditions — from the Wednesday Farmers’ Market to December Holiday celebrations — make it easy to feel connected.

For many, this won’t simply be a first home — it will be the place where life begins to take root. A place to establish yourself, gather with friends, build community, and create a life that feels grounded, meaningful, and full.
Whether you want quiet evenings at home, bike rides by the marina, mornings at your favorite coffee shop, or the opportunity to get involved locally through neighborhood events and City Hall, this community makes it easy to belong.

As a local neighborhood expert and community advocate, I love helping people discover not just a home, but a lifestyle and community they truly connect with. Come experience the warmth, charm, and heart of Farrelly Pond for yourself.

Sometimes, when you know… you just know.

about this

Neighborhood

San Leandro is a small city just south of Oakland. Its east side stretches up into the hills of the East Bay Regional Park District. The west side is flatter and has the advantage of the San Francisco Bay shoreline, public golf course, and marina. Homes for sale in San Leandro can be traced through the decades -- from the 1910s to the present day. A wide variety of architectural styles is found in north San Leandro. Dramatic, hillside contemporary homes, many of which feature expansive bay and canyon views, are the hallmark of the Bayo Vista neighborhood. Charming, older homes sit along the winding streets of the Estudillo Estates and Broadmoor Districts. Most of the city's ranch-style homes lie towards the Marina, along with some newer, custom-home developments. San Leandro is proud of its small-town feel and boasts a Wednesday farmers' markets, several annual festivals, and an increasing number of locally owned restaurants and coffee houses. San Leandro’s commute options are excellent: it has its own Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) station, transbay buses, and easy access to Interstate 880 and Interstate 580 for trips to the Silicon Valley or San Francisco.
