I finally found home when I was able to buy the house I’d lived in from the family I had been renting from for five years, a redwood petticoat shingled house on a quiet street which had a full basement. I was expecting and my husband and I had been finding ourselves in the midst of life changes. Our lives went through many transitions and the house was a safe haven for our friends and family too.
