This lovely Victorian is loaded with charm from the hardwood floors, fireplace in the living room and original mouldings. The foyer flows to the living room which is flooded with natural light. The dining room opens to the kitchen which has been thoughtfully updated. From the kitchen there is direct access to the deck making it perfect for outdoor grilling. Two bedrooms and one bathroom complete this level. On the upper level is one additional bedroom and a spacious attic that could be used as storage space or be developed. The lower level features a bonus bedroom plus a full bathroom. There is also access from this level to the sunny back yard complete with concrete pavers, a lemon tree and raised wood planter boxes perfect for a vegetable garden.  A washer/dryer is located in the garage. Neighborhood

Excelsior runs along Mission Street, south of the 280 and north of Geneva Avenue. This neighborhood was once home to Grateful Dead singer/guitarist Jerry Garcia, and today hosts the annual "Jerry Day," drawing thousands of celebrants to John McLaren Park and the lovely Jerry Garcia Amphitheater. John McLaren Park, San Francisco's second largest park, is another favorite for the neighborhood with its hiking trails, playgrounds, picnic areas, a golf course and amphitheater. The Excelsior Festival, for the purpose of drawing people together in a family-friendly environment, pays homage to this neighborhood's cultural diversity. Another claim to fame is the filming of Guess Who's Coming to Dinner, the award-winning 1967 movie. The Excelsior Playground boasts vivid murals along with the tennis courts and recreation center, and the 56-acre Crocker-Amazon Park offers basketball, tennis and bocce ball courts as well as baseball and soccer fields. Local businesses, such as the acclaimed Tortas Boos Voni eatery sit comfortably alongside young families and old-time residents.
